As an amateur baker, I’ve always wanted to learn how to master the more advanced baking techniques. One of those items on my list are French macarons (not to be confused with those coconut ones with 2 o’s). Those light, airy, cookies sandwiched around a creamy filling. There are endless combinations for flavors and colors. From what I’ve heard/read it can be difficult to the get consistency of the dough just right and even if you do, you still need to contend with your oven.
One of these days I’ll get around to practicing how to make them, but until then I’ll make do with a little eye candy. Enjoy this week’s wishlist wednesday….and try not to drool on the keyboard
