I have to admit – I’m not usually a huge Peeps fan. If you’ve been following The Pink Flour for awhile now, you know I love sugar, but I think the problem I have with peeps is the texture.
But I found a way I will eat Peeps (and enjoy them) – when they’re mixed with something else, they are pretty darn good. So I came up with a quick and easy way to have them with Oreos.
This may be the easiest recipe I’ve made up ever, so much so that I don’t really think you need a recipe card for it.
All I did was tip one side of an Oreo (I used the pretty yellow “Spring” ones) in melted white chocolate and then attach a Peep to the chocolate. See this recipe if you need instructions for melting chocolate.
For a few of them I even put a little Nutella on the bottom of the Peep before I attached it to the Oreo. Those were probably my favorites!
Do you like Peeps?
What is your favorite Easter candy?
