Sunset Whipped Cocktail

Sunset Whipped Cocktail - made with fresh orange juice, perfect summer drink!
I love Tequila Sunrise cocktails. I loved them so much that they were one of the signature drinks at our wedding. One of the reasons I love them so much is there a company in the city we live in that makes these delicious fresh juices and we make our tequila sunrise’s with their freshly squeezed orange juice.
If you’ve had orange juice or lemonade at a nice hotel or restaurant, chances are pretty good that you had a Perricone juice. They’ve started to put their juices in more retail locations (i.e. Costco, Bristol Farms, and even Panera), but I think it’s mostly in the Southern California and Arizona areas. We actually are able to go straight to the factory and buy the juice buy the galloon (you can get quarts too, but that is just never enough for us :) I’m also in love with their Strawberry Lemonade. And so is the rest of our family – so we always try to have some on hand for family functions. It really is heavenly.
Now for this cocktail, I wanted to put a spin on your typical tequila sunrise. Instead of tequila, I used whipped vodka. It’s a lot more sweet, but I didn’t think it was overly sweet. Perfect treat for breakfast (or anytime of day!)
