Caramel Pretzel Brownie Bars

Caramel Pretzel Brownie Bars - gooey caramel and salty pretzels make for the perfect salty & sweet treat
Since it was Mother’s Day last weekend, I made these bars with my mom in mind. Besides being amazing and probably, the most unselfish person I know, she definitely has an affinity for things that are sweet and salty. I absolutely inherited that from her…And she loves pretzels.

When we were little, I remember my mom would buy the big bag of pretzels from Costco (or Price Club as it was called back then!) and my mom would take handful of them and eat them with string cheese for her lunch. I don’t really think I understood how delicious pretzels were until I got older. Now, I want to put them in everything – and that includes these bars.

I knew my mom would like these because they combine three of her favorite flavors – chocolate, caramel & pretzels. And they were definitely a hit with the rest of my family as well.
