Strawberry Shortcake Martini

Since I started blogging almost a year ago, my husband has been very patient while I spend hours on the computer and making big messes in our kitchen. But despite all of that I think he has enjoyed creating new drinks and cocktails for the blog. This cocktail was all his creation.

I came home from work one day and he had all of the ingredients ready to go. So I just got to snap the photos while he made the drink.

When I found out about Pinnacle’s new Shortcake flavored vodka, I didn’t know what to make with it or how it would taste. But my husband kept the recipe simple and I really liked how it turned out. And the graham cracker rim is such a nice touch. This drink could easily be made over ice to make it even more refreshing during the summer.

Strawberry Shortcake Martini

  • 3 ounces strawberry puree (can be from fresh or frozen strawberries)
  • 3 ounces strawberry shortcake vodka
  • 2 graham crackers, crushed
  • 1 fresh strawberry

Make a small slit in the bottom of the strawberry and then use it to moisten the rim of a martini glass. Dip the martini glass into the crushed graham crackers. Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Pour in the strawberry puree and the vodka. Put on the top and cap and then shake vigorously. Pour into a martini glass and then garnish with the strawberry.

Disclaimer: Pinnacle Vodka was kind enough to provide me some of their Strawberry Shortcake Vodka to try, but no other compensation was received. I only share products with my readers that I love and would recommend.
